Camp Roger Stated goals for the new nature center building were to serve as a model of sustainability, respect for the environment, and as a tool in educating the campers. This project was taken through the schematic design phase for a camp in rural west Michigan. The program for the building included housing a series of classrooms and a large meeting space connected to a central courtyard to show the campers, staff, and community that a built environment can interact positively with the natural ecosystem.
